Founder's Grandmother Passes

Muriel Dwyer, grandmother of Jeni Dwyer Mather, founder of the Brockton Blue Dog Shelter, passed away on January 10 at the Life Care Center of Raynham after a long illness. Muriel was born and raised in Quincy, but made her home in Brockton before moving to Raynham four years ago. She was a huge supporter of the Brockton Blue Dog Shelter, having adopted her beloved Shih Tzu, Poof, from the shelter 10 years ago. She is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Donations can be made to the shelter in Muriel's memory by clicking here.
