A Heartfelt Thanks

A heartfelt thank you to all of the blue dog supporters and volunteers that made our fundraising weekend a great success. Dear Blue Dog Supporters,

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the shelter at our three big fundraising events last month! Despite the rainy weather on September 15th, we had a good turnout for our seventh annual Blue Fest event. Most of the vendors braved the elements outside under their tents, but the yard sale had to be moved inside. The turnout for those participating in the fourth annual blue dog walk was great considering the weather. Top Dog honors go to Henry Horte and his parents who raised over $400.00, but a big thank you to everyone who raised money for the walk.
We had better luck on the 16th as it was a perfect day for the 2nd Annual Motorcycle Ride. This year we had 38 riders who participated and were hosted to a cook-out following the ride. A special THANK YOU to John Burns who mapped out another great route, and to SNEAKY HOUDINI for providing excellent entertainment once again!! Blue Fest & Blue Dog Walk 2007
